Blog 4: Children of God Review
Hello everyone, today I’m talk about the film Children of God, a Caribbean movie who show us a LGBTQI story and the issues that involv the people in the real life.
My favorite character was Johnny because he was a young man who began to discover himself, at the biginning he was a shy and scary to show what he really felt and to being who he rally was. This character show us the reality of all of us when we started to know ourselfs no matter what are our interests and differences and that’s the reason why I loved the movie, I will recommend it to my friends, I thing they’ll love it too.
My favorite thing about the film was the progress of Johnny, who lives differents moments to learn about himself. Some moments was very happy and others very sad like when Romeo hides the truth, that was a low blow but unfortunately in life we find people like that, afraid to be themselves.
The scene when Romeo hurts Johnny and when Johnny dies, both didn’t like me because was really sad moments but so important in the movie.
My favorite scene was when Johnny faces the bad guys because show how he felt very important and powerful with himself.
I really like what you said about Johnny, becouse discovering our selves is a very difficult process, especially when you are not like you suppose to be.
